Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of a company by using cash flow statement analysis at the company PT Kimia Farma Tbk for the 2016-2018 period. This study uses a type of descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the conditions that occur to see, express, and describe precisely the things that are being faced and draw conclusions. The data analysis technique used is cash flow statement ratio analysis. The results of the research from the calculation of the cash flow statement and analysis of the cash flow statement show that the effectiveness of the cash flow performance of PT Kimia Farma Tbk for a period of 3 years (2016-2018) is less effective, seen from the calculation of the cash flow statement there are more ratios below number 1 which illustrates that the company is unable to fulfill its obligations and commitments. This is because during 2016-2018 PT Kimia Farma Tbk has not presented cash flow reports and analyzed cash flow statements so that cash flow performance cannot be known earlier for improvement efforts, especially in increasing the company's cash flow.
