Abstract
This article examines how new technologies are being implemented and are revolutionizing managerial practices today, leading to significant improvements in organizational efficiency. The research takes the form of a qualitative and documentary review that focuses on the analysis of literature published between 2019 and 2024, identifying the contributions of twenty authors who explore the impact of technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) on managerial practices. The results indicate that process automation, facilitated by artificial intelligence, has allowed companies to reduce operating costs and increase productivity within organizations. Furthermore, big data and predictive analytics have enhanced strategic decision-making by providing more accurate and timely information. Blockchain and IoT have optimized the supply chain by improving transparency and traceability, leading to more efficient and secure operations. However, the successful adoption of these technologies requires effective organizational change management, as their implementation can face resistance from employees and leaders. The study comprehensively determines how organizations that successfully integrate these technologies into their operations gain a substantial competitive advantage in a dynamic global business environment. This study contributes to the understanding of the crucial role that technology plays in modernizing and improving organizational efficiency, providing a theoretical and practical basis for future research and applications in managerial innovation.
