Abstract

This study analyses the one-decade financial performance of telecom companies in India Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Jio which are holding most of the market dominance in the current trend. The objective of the study is to find the revenue, profit, and other key financial metrics for the telecommunication industry in India over the decade like Asset turnover ratio, Current ratio, Debt-to-equity, EBITDA, Quick ratio and compare the all over the ten years ratio and data collected in Money control website. It revealed that Reliance Jio progressively had the best asset turnover ratio, indicating that the company was more successful than Airtel and Vodafone Idea in utilizing its asset to generate profit. Airtel's current and quick ratios were relatively stable, although its debt-to-equity (D/E) ratio increased over time, implying a rising reliance on debt funding. Reliance Jio, on the other hand, has a lower and steadier D/E ratio than Airtel, indicating a more reasonable approach to financial leverage. The research found that Reliance Jio's financial position is good and VI is facing a struggle.
