Abstract

Ce chapitre vise d'abord à synthétiser les critiques académiques de la productivité et à les organiser selon les trois étapes de quantification conceptualisées par Islam (2022) : capture, spécification et appropriation (partie 1). Les critiques formulées sont ensuite mises en perspective selon une approche phronétique (partie 2). Cette approche a été initiée par Flyvbjerg, (2001), puis utilisée par Dermarkar & Gendron (2019) dans le champ CCA autour de trois questions : vers où allons-nous ? Est-ce désirable pour la société ? Que pouvons-nous y faire ? L'approche phronétique permet finalement d'interroger les pratiques des dirigeants, salariés, consommateurs, citoyens, etc., et ce à différents niveaux (individuel, organisationnel, sociétal). Le chapitre déconstruit ainsi la notion omniprésente de productivité et fournit des pistes d'actions pour s'en affranchir ou s'y opposer.
