Abstract

Le trafic de drogues est-il une voie professionnelle sans issue ? Oui, si on le pense selon un cadre moral, opposant vertu et infâme. Oui, aussi, si les activités criminelles étaient improvisées et s'opposaient aux activités professionnelles, organisées et planifiées. Pourtant, à bien des égards, les organisations criminelles sont comparables à beaucoup d'autres. Leurs besoins opérationnels s'incarnent dans les compétences que leurs membres développent. Or, pour beaucoup d'acteurs, comme les dealers rencontrés dans le cadre d'une recherche menée au cœur de plusieurs quartiers populaires français, le cadre illicite est le seul connu.
