Abstract

Se rendre au travail à vélo, une nouvelle mode pour les bobos sportifs ou une piste d'évolution durable pour tous ? Les vélo-taffeurs semblent devenir un sujet d'intérêt, avec d'un côté l'Etat qui incite à se rendre au travail à vélo notamment avec le forfait mobilités durables, et d'autre part, les régions et les communes qui font également beaucoup pour encourager l'utilisation du vélo. Globalement, les chiffres montrent que l'utilisation du vélo pour les déplacements domicile-travail sont en hausse dans toutes les grandes villes en France, avec en tête 13,8% des actifs dans l'Eurométropole de Strasbourg. Vélo & Territoires recense les passages de vélos à partir de compteurs distribués sur tout le territoire français. En 2022 la pratique de vélo utilitaire (incluant les trajets domicile travail, mais aussi d'autres trajets (comme les courses) a progressé de 15 %.
