Abstract

Le sentiment d'insécurité (SI) est un concept fréquemment utilisé alors même qu'il reste flou. Appliqué aux populations civiles, son impact sur un groupe socioprofessionnel, pourtant susceptible d'y être confronté régulièrement, est plus rarement évoqué ou étudié. En s'appuyant sur 12 entretiens qualitatifs menés auprès de membres de force de sécurité intérieure (FSI), et après avoir interrogé la nature du sentiment d'insécurité à partir des recherches de Roché (2010), cette étude s'attache à en observer l'impact sur le comportement et la prise de décision de ces personnels. En outre, elle analyse les biais qui peuvent influencer ces populations très exposées au SI. Elle permet un état comparatif entre forces civiles et militaires concernant la perception du SI, son lien avec les biais cognitifs spécifiques à cette population et son impact sur les comportements et les prises de décision.
