Abstract

There is a need to reconsider the evaluation of entrepreneurial learning in its wide diversity. The aim of this chapter is to offer an integrative framework inspired both by entrepreneurship and education sciences to support the effective and systematic design, management and evaluation of new or existing entrepreneurship programs providing relevant entrepreneurial learning processes and outcomes. With the expectations of the various stakeholders of entrepreneurship education (EE) as a cornerstone, this multidimensional theory-driven framework derived from an integrative literature review includes both teaching model and evaluation model in alignment to facilitate, support and evaluate different learning processes and outcomes for (novice) entrepreneurs. As opposed to a generic approach of evaluation often advocated by previous research on the impact of EE, it provides a clear and useful feedback on EE impact at three levels (individual, institutional, social) applicable to both tailor-made entrepreneurship programs and entrepreneurs' reflective practice and entrepreneurial learning self-assessment.
