Abstract

Cet article mobilise le concept d'improvisation organisationnelle afin de rendre compte de la dynamique d'innovation repérée lors du déploiement d'un dispositif d'optimisation logistique chez un constructeur automobile français. Nous utilisons le terme « d'improvisation organisationnelle » pour décrire ce processus innovateur « chemin faisant » qui se traduit par une série d'adéquations sur le dispositif de gestion et sur le processus de mise en place, sans planification et par la volonté des utilisateurs de « faire-avec ». Nous montrons sur une étude de cas comment ces improvisations et les transformations qu'elles apportent permettent aux utilisateurs d'atteindre les objectifs fixés par l'organisation. Nous proposons alors une articulation dynamique entre l'improvisation organisationnelle et l'innovation managériale.
