Abstract

En profonde transition vers une économie circulaire (EC), l'industrie automobile s'est engagée dans la réduction de l'impact environnemental de ses emballages. Si en France la loi AGEC favorise leur réduction, leur réemploi et leur recyclage, des directives européennes visent en sus à harmoniser ces pratiques, notamment pour que les emballages soient à terme réutilisables ou recyclables. Cette réglementation a pour objectif de favoriser la mise en place de pratiques circulaires et d'améliorations environnementales. Cependant, la réglementation n'est pas forcément adaptée aux spécificités de l'industrie automobile et peut être perçue comme un frein. À titre d'exemple, elle permet la recyclabilité, mais peut entraver la réutilisation. Afin de répondre aux intentions de la réglementation et aux pratiques en entreprise, il s'avère important de relever trois défis : ajuster la réglementation aux spécificités de l'industrie, harmoniser les exigences entre pays et simplifier les procédures administratives.
