Abstract

Lutter contre la récidive grâce à l'entrepreneuriat ? Au Texas, le Prison Entrepreneuship Program, un accompagnement entrepreneurial auprès de personnes détenues, a permis de faire passer le taux de récidive sous la barre des 7%, alors que la moyenne nationale se situe aux alentours de 50% (étude réalisée sur 1.300 détenus ayant suivi le programme) (A. Sauers, 2009). En France, j'ai mis sur pied un programme similaire, instauré depuis 2016, Emergence, financé par le ministère de l'Education national d'une part, par les directions interrégionales des services pénitentiaires d'autre part, et porté par le Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, via le Réseau de la Réussite Vincent Merle pour accompagner les détenus dans l'identification, la compréhension, la réflexion de leur désir d'entreprendre, puis de formaliser l'idée entrepreneuriale. L'association PEP France, prend ensuite le relais pour accompagner les détenus à leur sortie
