Abstract

Dans son discours de politique générale, l'ancien Premier Ministre Michel Barnier avait exprimé son souhait d'organiser en partenariat avec les collectivités territoriales une journée de consultation citoyenne. L'objectif d'une telle démarche était de laisser un espace d'expression aux citoyens sur des sujets sociétaux. Sous-jacent à cela, il s'agissait surtout d'apporter une réponse à la crise démocratique qui s'observe dans notre pays et de renforcer la représentativité citoyenne dans les décisions. Cette volonté politique s'inscrit pleinement dans les orientations pour soutenir le développement de la participation citoyenne décidées avec la création de la direction interministérielle de la transformation publique.
