Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es producir conocimientos sobre una innovación territorial en curso: la experiencia impulsada por el Gobierno de Canelones (Uruguay) entre 2016 y 2020 en la obtención y comercialización de soja no transgénica destinada al consumo humano. La metodología empleada para recolectar la información fue el estudio de caso. Utilizando elementos conceptuales de la sociología de la traducción se identificaron estrategias de alianza, coordinación y traducción entre los actores participantes y también entre la producción de conocimientos técnicos y organizacionales en cada fase del proceso de innovación. Los resultados dan cuenta de la utilidad de este abordaje cuando se trata de comprender el rol de los actores en los procesos de innovación en torbellino; asimismo, los hallazgos sugieren elementos para impulsar políticas públicas que promuevan la innovación territorial.
