Abstract

Comment un objet de collection acquiert-il une valeur d'échange ? Quelles stratégies les offreurs suivent-ils pour protéger la valeur de ces objets ? Afin d'apporter un éclairage sur ces questions, cet article s'intéresse en particulier au marché philatélique. Il montre que, sur ce marché, la présence de conventions interfère avec les ajustements micro-économiques de l'offre et de la demande dans la valorisation des timbres de collection. Il met également en relief la transformation de la logique socio-économique traditionnelle sous l'effet des technologies de l'information, et s'intéresse à la question de la confiance dans le champ de l'économie numérique.
