Abstract

Résumé du livre : Au départ ludique, la pratique du jeu vidéo est très tôt devenue compétitive. Aujourd'hui, les compétitions de jeu vidéo ou e-sport connaissent un incroyable essor économique. Si les juristes se souciaient jusqu'alors du sport, l'e-sport demeurant exsangue. Le Centre de droit du sport d'Aix-Marseille Université et l'Equipe de recherche en droit privé de l'Université de Poitiers y ont remédié en s'alliant pour proposer une réflexion collective sur le sujet. Les contributeurs, universitaires et professionnels, présentent les enjeux juridiques du secteur, de ses acteurs, de l'activité e-sportive, de son financement et envisagent les perspectives qu'il offre. Préface Fabrice Rizzo, Professeur à Aix-Marseille Université, Directeur du Centre de Droit Economique. Résumé du chapitre : Glossaire sur les termes en usage dans l'e-sport, faisant l'objet ou non d'une entrée dans l'ouvrage. L'e-sport amène son lot de vocabulaire nouveau qu'il est nécessaire de définir.
