Abstract

Stating that the development of Senegat is based mainty OFZ fishing amounts io mistaking the cotlect of foreign currency for the development of the national potentialities. This paper proposes to situate the so-called o industrial o fishing intended forexport in relation 10 the economy ns a ulhole and pnrticularly, to its interactions rvith small-scale fishing rvhich is unfairly limiied to some o traditional 1) SOCiCd functioris through a dualistic argument. Simultaneously, an analysis is made on data acquisition and presentation and sonie considwation is girren fo the fishing economy
