Abstract

Partant du principe qu'une structuration efficace des relations inter- organisationnelles permet d'améliorer la qualité des échanges, cet article s'intéresse au rôle des contrats dans la gestion des relations entre les différents partenaires d'une supply chain. Notre objectif est de comprendre en quoi les contrats permettent de réguler leurs comportements mutuels et dans quelle mesure ils agissent comme un mécanisme de coordination. Cette étude propose une analyse exploratoire des relations contractuelles au sein des supply chains afin de déterminer les motivations de la contractualisation et la nature des arrangements que supportent les clauses du contrat. Les résultats obtenus montrent en quoi le contrat d'approvisionnement peut être considéré comme un mécanisme pertinent dans la structuration des relations au sein des supply chains et apportent une vision dynamique du contrat selon le type de dépendance entre les partenaires.
