Abstract

L'objet de ce travail de recherche est de développer un cadre d'analyse alternatif à l'étude de la performance organisationnelle comme résultat de la démarche sociétale de l'entreprise. En effet, les investigations empiriques portant sur la relation entre la Responsabilité Sociétale de l'Entreprise (RSE) et la performance demeurent largement controversées à cause du mode de conceptualisation et d'opérationnalisation de la notion de performance. Ces recherches ont tendance à se limiter aux seuls et uniques indicateurs financiers, quantitatifs et unidimensionnels dans la mesure de la performance. Au-delà des avantages purement financiers de la RSE, le cadre d'analyse proposé élargit l'éventail des retombées de la RSE à d'autres dimensions concurrentielle, opérationnelle et en lien avec la réputation. Il mobilise une triangulation entre plusieurs sources de données afin de mieux appréhender la notion de performance. Il s'inscrit également dans une perspective partagée de la performance qui profite à tous les SH (« Stakeholders ») ayant contribué à sa réalisation
