Abstract

La recension met en perspective deux ouvrages, l'un portant sur les fondements philosophiques de la théorie de l'équilibre général (Claire Bourdieu) l'autre sur l'analyse sociologique de cette même théorie par Pierre Bourdieu. Elle interroge la représentation de l'homo oeconomicus et sa critique et montre que la critique de l'homo oeconomicus peut porter sur la forme de la rationalité et l'ordre des finalités en jeu plutôt que sur la possibilité même d'un calcul rationnel dans les activités économiques ordinaires.
