Abstract

Cette allocution filmée de jeunes diplômé·es d'une école d'ingénieurs agronomes, appelant à refuser des emplois écocides, a fait l'objet d'un buzz au début du mois de mai 2022. Elle fait écho au refus de certains d'adopter un mode de vie dédié au travail, désastreux pour l'environnement et la santé mentale. Les discours médiatiques sur le « nouveau rapport au travail des jeunes » ne sont pourtant pas nouveaux et désignent un phénomène socialement situé. Seule nouveauté, peut-être, qu'illustre cette rhétorique : l'importance prise par la norme environnementale comme valeur à prendre en compte sur le marché de l'emploi.
