Abstract

Dans un contexte mondialisé et d'accumulation constante et accélérée des connaissances, l'innovation et la créativité apparaissent comme des facteurs clés de la compétitivité des économies nationales. Si la créativité consiste davantage à construire un concept neuf ou à faire émerger une solution originale à un problème donné, l'innovation permet de générer cette créativité par la construction et la diffusion des connaissances ; la créativité nourrissant, à son tour, les processus d'innovation. L'ensemble des expériences, situations ou propositions théoriques contenues dans ce numéro d'Innovations, Revue d'économie et de management de l'innovation, référencent les connaissances et s'interrogent sur comment passer d'une « économie d'imitation » à une « économie d'innovation. » À la lecture des articles proposés, les déterminants de l'innovation tiennent à trois éléments majeurs : l'environnement institutionnel et organisationnel dans lequel opèrent les acteurs, le réel potentiel de créativité et la capacité qu'ont ces derniers à créer des interactions systémiques pertinentes, sources de croissance, de changement et de développement économique.
