Abstract

La crise financière globale récente a amené le Comité de Bâle sur le contrôle bancaire à revoir les Accords de Bâle II. De nouvelles régulations renforçant l'exigence en matière de fonds propres et de liquidité des banques et visant à limiter l'effet de levier sont préconisées dans les Accords de Bâle III. Elles seront appliquées de manière échelonnée d'ici 2019. Ajoutant des mesures macro-prudentielles aux réformes micro-prudentielles, Bâle III pourrait toutefois être insuffisant pour éviter de grandes crises financières dans le futur.
