Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are a key factor of performance of developed countries but what about companies in developing countries ? Our paper fills a gap by questioning the link between the level of ICT and performance of Tunisian electric and electronic SMEs measured by profitability. By relying on a statistic and econometric approach (linear regression, Granger causality, Kruskal-Wallis test and the Welch ANOVA, post-hoc tests), we show the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the level of ICT adoption and performance of Tunisian electric and electronic SME.
