Abstract

Dans nos sociétés contemporaines, les sciences et les techniques conditionnent nos façons de voir et de savoir. Climat, données numériques, santé, biodiversité, démocratie, développement, économie, arts, patrimoines... sont autant d'exemples de domaines qui mobilisent les citoyens à l'interface Sciences-Société. Réalité aussi riche que complexe, ces interactions entre le monde de la recherche, les citoyens, les associations, les entreprises, ou encore les élus impliquent de forts enjeux sociaux, environnementaux, et plus globalement éthiques. véritable champ d'innovation, elles demeurent cependant mal connues et traversées par des lignes de tension. Les Assises Sciences-Sociétés de juillet 2017 entendent réunir tous ces acteurs afin d'accroitre la visibilité de leurs actions, identifier les obstacles et les pistes de solution pour des synergies entre savoirs d'origines différentes, développer des coopérations équilibrées, et renforcer ainsi le rôle de l'innovation dans le progrès social.
