Abstract

Cet article se propose d'analyser la librairie en France à la lumière de la loi Lang. Elle permet de révéler trois ambivalences, entre protection et contrainte, solidarité et domination, diversité et concentration. Émerge un cadre d'analyse pertinent pour rendre compte des mouvements socio-économiques les plus actuels : offre croissante et segmentée, concentration éditoriale et commerciale, arrivée d'internet venant modifier la demande, l'offre et l'organisation des métiers.
