Abstract

La relation entre mondialisation et développement pose la question de la soutenabilité dans un contexte historique d'ouverture accrue des économies en développement et de libéralisation des flux de facteurs de production. L'environnement économique récent a fait naître des inquiétudes sur les bienfaits supposés de l'internationalisation des économies. Le ralentissement des grandes économies émergentes et les doutes exprimés sur les effets des programmes économiques à orientation libérale conduisent à une réflexion sur la conception des politiques de développement. La signature, fin 2015, du premier accord mondial à la Conférence des Nations Unies sur le climat (COP 21 à Paris) a marqué l'engagement des économies du Sud, tant l'insoutenabilité du modèle de croissance de ces dernières décennies devient de plus en plus évidente. Trois grandes thématiques sont présentes dans cet ouvrage qui s'inscrit dans le débat contemporain sur la soutenabilité d'un développement mondialisé : Peut-on dire que nous allons vers une mondialisation durable ? Quelles illustrations des convergences et divergences dans la mondialisation ? Quelle problématique pour la soutenabilité sociale du développement ?"
