Abstract

La philosophie de notre revue, devons-nous le rappeler, est de favoriser un dialogue entre les générations de chercheurs dont les travaux interrogent les relations entre le monde économique et la société. Ce numéro est construit autour d'un hommage à un auteur disparu il y a fort longtemps. En 1972 s'éteignait Frank Knight, dont l'œuvre majeure, Risk, Uncertainty and Profit, devait entrer dans la postérité, certes pour de bonnes raisons (la distinction entre incertitude et risque), mais aussi sous la forme d'un héritage tronqué et déformé. La focalisation sur la première partie de son ouvrage, vouée à la décision en contexte certain, est le lot de la plupart des utilisations mainstream de la pensée de Knight. [...]
