Abstract

Julien BATAC travaillait sur de nombreux thèmes de recherche associés au management public, dont l'innovation et les stratégies d'acteurs. Dans ses dernières publications (Le pilotage de l'innovation : des contrôles et des hommes, 2019 ; ou bien les effets de la digitalisation dans les collectivités locales, 2020), apparaissent le caractère politique de l'innovation (Henderson et Clark, 1990) ainsi que l'influence de facteurs organisationnels, notamment les jeux d'acteurs, et la recherche des impacts sur le pilotage des organisations étudiées. C'est pourquoi, ce chapitre vise à développer ces éléments soulevés dans les recherches de Julien, en s'intéressant aux déterminants internes et aux effets des innovations menées au sein du secteur public local.
