Abstract

Que signifie libéralisme en économie ? Qu'est-ce qu'être keynésien ? Que faut-il retenir des grands courants de la pensée économique ? Cet aide-mémoire présente de façon concise et accessible les différentes théories économiques dans une perspective historique, des grands auteurs précurseurs de la pensée économique aux développements contemporains. La présentation des théories est contextualisée grâce à de brefs rappels historiques et à la prise en compte de la dimension humaine et sociale de l'économie. Découpé de façon chronologique, l'ouvrage propose en outre sous forme d'encadrés les dialogues possibles entre penseurs (Th. d'Aquin et G. Akerlof sur l'asymétrie d'information, J. Locke et J. Rawls sur la monnaie...), montrant ainsi comment l'histoire des idées économiques offre des "leçons" utiles pour l'analyse du présent.
