Commerce mondial : le dynamisme retrouvé

Abstract

Les flux de commerce mondial ont connu une accélération rapide entre l'automne 2003 et l'été 2004 (tableau 1). Les importations mondiales étaient en hausse de 6,3 % en 2003 en volume et devraient l'être de plus de 11 % en 2004. Ainsi les flux de commerce renoueraient-ils cette année pour la première fois depuis 2000 avec une croissance à deux chiffres (graphique 1). 2004 verrait la plus forte croissance du PIB mondial depuis 30 ans, mais l'augmentation des échanges commerciaux n'atteindrait pas le point haut de l'année 2000 lorsque le commerce était porté par les échanges de biens de nouvelles technologies (+ 13,5 %).
