Abstract

La démocratie sociale est un défi pour les relations du travail que, depuis les années 2000, bien des réformes - Sapin, Rebsamen, El Khomri, Macron – cherchent à relever. Il ne s'agit plus de développer l'expression directe des salariés mais, sur la base de négociations patronats/syndicats, de promouvoir une autorégulation dans chaque branche d'activité, chaque entreprise, voire pour chaque travailleur. Ce livre analyse la démocratie sociale, ses enjeux, ses tensions, en croisant différentes perspectives (science politique, sociologie, sciences de gestion, droit), en prenant appui sur des terrains précis et en cherchant à évaluer l'application des réformes récentes. La réalité des relations sociales en entreprise, le financement du syndicalisme, la représentativité patronale, la fabrique du droit du travail, les tensions propres à la SNCF constituent quelques-uns des thèmes abordés qui éclairent la démocratie sociale aujourd'hui, ses impasses ou ses succès.
