Abstract

The increasing evolution of leisure activities and particularly that of concerts lead up researches focus on the theoretical, methodological and managerial aspects of this kind of experiences. Concerts and festivals, which belong to the service sector, challenge the traditional model of perceived quality in terms of their strong experiential aspect. Instead of advocating a change on the paradigm, this study intends to enhance the dominant model with an experiential variable: immersion. Then, according to the motivations of 249 spectators of a jazz festival, the influence of immersion has been compared to that of perceived quality.
