Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has reinforced the strategic nature of logistics and supply chain management (SCM) but has also led to criticize certain aspects. Does this unprecedented crisis challenge all studies done so far in logistics and SCM? In order to answer this question, we made a critical review of the RFG special issue n°277/2018 "Supply Chain Management – Breaking down the walls to create value" in light of the initial lessons from Covid-19. If the fundamental aspects are not in question, we identify new avenues to explore and develop.
