Abstract

Le rapport de la société à l'alimentation est en évolution. Un besoin de relocalisation de la production alimentaire se fait ressentir. D'une part l'agriculture constitue un vivier d'emploi, d'autre part une solution pour une action positive vis-à-vis du changement climatique et d'une alimentation saine. Si en Europe, les systèmes alimentaires tels que les SAT constituent une solution, le contexte des pays du Sud et de l'Est de la Méditerranée (SEM), n'offrent pas les mêmes bases pour une mise en place similaire. Les Systèmes Alimentaires du Milieu (SYAM) apparaissent comme une solution pour une relance de l'activité agricole au niveau du SEM. Situés au croisement de plusieurs système, et agissant souvent comme une réinterprétation de circuits existants, la mise en place des SYAM requiert l'activation de plusieurs conceptsthéoriques.L'article fera une lecture sur les fondements des SYAM en les reliant à différents corpus théoriques dans le but de proposer des pistes de recherche. Dans ces lectures, les SYAM seront analysés sur base d'une logique territoriale, d'une logique d'écosystème et d'une logique de création de valeur ajoutée durable. Au travers de ces différentes lectures, la gestion des compétences ressort comme un élément clef.
