Abstract

L'objectif de cette étude qualitative est de comprendre pourquoi peu d'organisations mettent en place des pratiques favorisant le maintien en emploi des seniors. En utilisant la cartographie cognitive comme outil d'explicitation des représentations, nous avons présenté quatre cas issus d'une série de dix-huit entretiens auprès de directeurs de maison de retraite. Les résultats montrent que si des stratégies intégrantes sont mises en places elles peuvent avoir des effets excluants. A l'opposé, l'absence de pratiques de maintien en emploi peut être expliquée par des régulations individuelles et collectives.
