Abstract

En l'année 2020, il est un secteur qui redoute particulièrement les effets désastreux que pourrait avoir l'épidémie de Covid-19 sur son activité : celui du nautisme. Depuis plusieurs mois, les acteurs de la filière nautique tournent au ralenti, lorsque leurs activités ne sont pas purement et simplement arrêtées. Ils étaient probablement à espérer devant l'allocution du premier ministre Edouard Philippe le 7 mai 2020 une annonce forte permettant de rassurer l'ensemble de la profession. On comprend aisément les craintes des professionnels de ce secteur, qui avaient déjà été très lourdement impactés par la crise financière de 2008. Les chiffres et les études en témoignent : le secteur n'a égalé son niveau d'avant 2008 qu'en 2018. Depuis quelques années, le rebond est cependant bien là, et les indicateurs tous au vert. Plusieurs groupes avaient annoncé d'importants plans d'embauches pour 2020 et brandi fièrement des carnets de commandes pleins. Les rêves promis par le début de cette nouvelle décennie ont cependant rapidement pris des allures cauchemardesques dont l'issue sera probablement bien sombre pour beaucoup de professionnels de la filière nautique.
