Abstract

Cette contribution se donne pour objectif d'amorcer une réflexion concernant le statut des personnes présentes sur les plateformes de micro-travail. Dans un premier temps, nous définissons le micro-travail comme une autre forme d'activité "ubérisé" qui s'inscrit dans une tendance à la "plateformisation" du travail. Puis, nous montrons à quel point ces travailleuses et ces travailleurs sont essentiels au fonctionnement des entreprises du secteur de l'intelligence artificielle, et que cette activité professionnelle n'est pas sans risque pour les personnes qui l'exercent. Or, ces risques sont peu ou pas couverts par les statuts encadrant pour le moment cette activité professionnelle. Pourtant, dans cette "zone grise", certaines plateformes mettent en place des formes de subordination qui peuvent peser sur les micro-travailleuses et les micro-travailleurs. Enfin, nous présentons quelques pistes de régulation à l'étude en France et en Europe.
