Investissements directs étrangers et capacité d'absorption nationale: les leviers de croissance des économies du Maghreb

Abstract

S'inscrivant dans une logique macro-économique de rattrapage technologique, l'objectif de cet article est d'explorer la relation entre croissance économique, éducation, exportations et Investissement Direct Etranger (IDE) dans trois pays maghrébins. En utilisant des techniques paramétriques et non paramétriques descriptives, nous mettons en évidence un certain nombre de liens de corrélation entre les variables étudiées. Un lien positif et significatif entre croissance et IDE est observé uniquement pour l'Algérie. Une faible relation entre capacité d'absorption et IDE caractérise les trois économies maghrébines. En revanche, il existe une corrélation positive entre exportations et IDE pour les trois pays ; sa dynamique ne demeurant cependant significative sur le moyen terme que pour l'Algérie et la Tunisie.
