Abstract

"Plus qu'à ce qui change dans l'action publique urbaine, cet essai s'intéresse à ce qui change l'action publique urbaine, c'est-à-dire les grandes mutations de nos sociétés, dans leur ensemble et dans le temps long, des processus d'individuation à la société de la connaissance en passant par la société du risque ou la globalisation. Les auteurs explorent les articulations entre mutations sociétales et action publique urbaine à travers plusieurs champs qui servent d'analyseurs à leur démarche et qui sont représentatifs des formes de transformations des villes, comme le rôle de l'environnement dans les projets territoriaux, la place des universités dans la production urbaine, ou encore la planification urbaine" (4e de couverture).
