Econometrical study on french agricultural disparities from a regional data base

Abstract

Après une introduction retraçant l'évolution en longue période de l'agriculture (croissance, orientations et combinaisons productives, résultats économiques), l'auteur établit un constat des disparités, a travers les données départementales, prises entre 1962 et 1981. Il fournit une analyse de la relation entre disparités et croissance basée sur l'intensification et la spécialisation. Cette analyse aboutit à des résultats cohérents mais insuffisants eu égard à leurs fondements théoriques. Une deuxième partie la complète; s'appuyant sur une spécification trans-logarithmique pour représenter la fonction de production de l'agriculture, un modèle explicatif de l'intensification est proposé.
