Vers la construction d'un potentiel de recherche autonome dans les pays du Tiers-monde : l'exemple de l'économie rurale en Côte-d'Ivoire

Abstract

Dans cet article est mis en évidence quelques unes des difficultés et les solutions qui ont pu y remédier à travers l'analyse de la mise en place et du développement d'une recherche nationale en économie et sociologie rurales en Côte-d'Ivoire. La première partie est consacrée aux conditions d'émergence et au rôle des sciences sociales appliquées au développement agricole dans le contexte des pays en voie de développement. L'objet de la seconde partie est de prendre en considération les conditions dans lesquelles les recherches sont mises en œuvre. Les rapports entre les pays qui concourent aux recherches sont étudiés, ainsi que les chances d'autonomie quand elles existent, et les modes de coopération les mieux adaptés qui en découlent.
