Abstract

Les entreprises de transport sous-traitantes contribuent au développement contemporain des contraintes environnementales dans les milieux urbains agglomérés. La précarité de leurs situations économiques les conduit à s'insérer dans des espaces économiquement fragilisés, dont elles accentuent les dynamiques de dégradation. Le coût environnemental local, pour important qu'il soit, reste masqué par une acceptation sociale des nuisances issues du long terme par les populations riveraines. Dans ce cadre, les édiles ignorent ou appréhendent mal ce phénomène du temps court qui engage le long terme. La question se pose alors, sachant les impacts environnementaux induits, de la dynamique socio-spatiale de développement de ces entreprises et de son adéquation aux textes chargés de la protection de l'environnement en milieu urbain.
