Abstract

La mondialisation interroge sur le rôle économique de l'Etat. La globalisation de l'économie de marché ne semble pas apporter la paix généralisée annoncée, car l'économie reste une arme disponible au service de la puissance étatique. La concurrence économique internationale devient un instrument de pouvoir partagé par les Etats forts, mais aussi par les firmes multinationales. Le néo-mercantilisme devient une alternative dominante aux théories économiques libérales traditionnelles.
