Abstract

L'univers de l'art et les réflexions sur l'esthétique peuvent-ils nous aider à comprendre comment du sens se fabrique dans les organisations et à propos de celles-ci ? C'est en tout cas une conviction partagée par un ensemble de chercheurs dont les travaux s'attachent à montrer la fécondité d'une telle approche. Leur projet n'est pas de transformer tout manager en artiste, mais ils ont bien compris, surtout lorsqu'il est question de sens, que certaines problématiques se rejoignent et que certains concepts esthétiques sont particulièrement éclairants. Ils étudient des oeuvres d'art, des interventions d'artistes, des organisations artistiques, des expériences esthétiques ; ils jettent un regard artiste, projettent des questions artistes qu'ils compliquent d'inquiétudes politiques et culturelles ; ils utilisent des procédés artistiques comme méthode pour communiquer leurs thèses, pour affecter la communauté universitaire… S'il y a donc une même conviction, il y a aussi beaucoup de différences et de différends sur ce qu'est l'art du sens.
