Abstract

In Corporate Finance law 4/2013 Cannivé/Reers amongst others comment on aspects of company law in the case of a transfer decision regarding professional soccer players using the examples of Robert Lewandowski and Mario Götze. Their argumentation concerning the appraisal of the so-called „business judgment rule" results in a thesis worthy of discussion. Therefore, this article questions the statements made by Cannivé/Reers critically and illustrates how an adequate information basis related to decision-making can be achieved from an economic point of view.
