Abstract

Cet ouvrage s'articule autour de contributions de chercheurs en sciences sociales, qui proposent d'approfondir la connaissance des clusters culturels et des scènes culturelles locales. La première partie fait le point sur les acceptions, méthodes et approches mobilisées selon les différentes disciplines dans l'analyse des clusters culturels et des scènes locales, et permet de mieux comprendre les interpénétrations entre les deux concepts. L'ouvrage traite également des démarches pour accompagner les choix de spécialisation dans la culture et penser l'action publique territoriale. A partir de l'étude d'exemples concrets tant en France (Nantes, Lille) qu'à l'étranger (Québec, Barcelone, Istanbul, Gênes), la deuxième partie est consacrée à la question de la gouvernance des clusters et à celle de leur instrumentation politique. La troisième et dernière partie examine les enjeux du regroupement d'acteurs culturels et créatifs sur un territoire localisé, avec une analyse des mécanismes par lesquels ils sont producteurs de dynamiques économiques, culturelles, sociales, territoriales. En privilégiant une perspective comparative, l'ensemble de l'ouvrage invite à interroger les échelles territoriales et la temporalité des phénomènes étudiés.
