Abstract

La gestion des ressources humaines appelle trois définitions complémentaires. Premièrement, elle est un champ disciplinaire dont l'objet d'étude est l'acquisition, la stimulation et la régulation des ressources humaines des organisations. Deuxièmement, elle est une fonction de l'entreprise : elle vise à obtenir une adéquation efficace entre les emplois et les compétences, pour déployer la stratégie de l'organisation. Troisièmement, elle est un ensemble de pratiques, plus ou moins formalisées, dont le domaine d'intervention couvre la gestion du personnel (recrutement, rémunérations, organisation du travail, règlements et sécurité), les relations sociales (communication interne, représentatives du personnel et syndicales, etc.) et l'intégration des salariés (formation, carrière, intéressement et motivation) (Peretti, 2007).
