L'agriculture est-elle en passe de s'assimiler au secteur public ?

Abstract

Dressant il y a dix ans le bilan de la politique agricole suivie par la France durant le quart de siècle écoulé, le professeur Chombart de Lauwe écrivait déjà que les concours de l'Etat à l'agriculture avaient "augmenté extraordinairement au cours de ces dernières années" et notait qu'ils avaient plus que triplé entre 1957-58 et 1968. Ou' en est-il depuis lors ? Il semble opportun d'émettre quelques réflexions à ce propos après avoir recueilli les données essentielles sur la récente décennie tout au moins jusqu'en 1977 dernière année pour laquelle on dispose des statistiques les plus solides portant sur les fonds publics alloués au secteur agricole, dépenses effectivement constatées qui ne doivent pas en effet être confondues avec des crédits votés et décidés mais non nécessairement engagés a-posteriori.
