Abstract

Cet ouvrage propose une conception de l'évolution économique qui repose explicitement sur la croissance des entreprises. Rodolphe Durand y présente les travaux récents en stratégie d'entreprise, nouveau champ marqué par le «courant des ressources» et les thèmes de la diversification, des fusions, des acquisitions, et des transformations de l'environnement économique. Mais l'originalité de son apport réside dans la mise en perspective historique de la manière de penser l'entreprise et son insertion dans le monde économique. Elle illustre à quel point les théories de l'évolutionnisme, qui mêment les lois et les causes du changement biologique et social, ont eu une influence profonde sur les théorie de la dynamique et de la réussite des entreprises.Ce livre offre ainsi des réponses claires aux nombreuses questions que soulève la dynamique des rapports entre les entreprises et les marchés.
