Abstract

Le document présente l'utilisation des indices de Malmquist Luenberger pour évaluer la productivité d'exploitations en tenant compte de la composante environnementale de leur activité. La mesure de productivité est ensuite décomposée afin de déterminer quels sont les principaux facteurs pouvant l'expliquer : le progrès technique ou adoption de nouvelles technologies et l'efficacité ou réduction des gaspillages. Cette approche est appliquée à un échantillon d'exploitations porcines du RICA de 1999 à 2001 afin de décrire les évolutions survenues dans ce secteur d'activité suite à la mise en place de la réglementation européenne concernant les pollutions par les nitrates d'origine agricole.
